First Reconciliation preparation for children includes both home and classroom study processes. It is parish policy that children be enrolled in religious education for two years before the reception of the sacrament. First Communion preparation for children is accomplished in the second grade and includes both classroom and home study work. It is a parish policy that children be enrolled in religious education for two years before the reception of the sacrament. The pastor on a case-by-case basis handles adult preparation for the sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, Reconciliation and Confirmation. The Coordinator provides details about the process for Confirmation during the school year. Confirmation is celebrated for 9th grade in the fall of each year.
Marriage preparation is arranged through Fr. Browne at least six months before the wedding date.
( RCIA ) Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults is for people who would like to become members of the Catholic Church, either through conversion from other Christian faiths or with no previous affiliations with a church. Catholics who have not been confirmed are included in this process. Call Fr. Browne to sign up.
The Anointing of the Sick is celebrated communally each year in October. The sacrament is available on an individual basis by contacting Fr. Browne.
